Crisis Communications is a 5-module online course designed by GCSI (Government Communication Service International) that teaches participants how to respond in a crisis as a government communicator.
- teaches some of the strategies to communicate with citizens during a crisis and shares valuable insights into each step of the process, from first response to recovery and assessment
- is highly interactive with participants learning from experts within government who share their experiences via information case studies
- contains a simulated crisis exercise where participants will apply the tools and practise the skills to respond to crises set in a fictional country

We work in partnership with the Government Communication Service International (GCSI) team to offer online modular courses to GCS members.
Modules are released week by week and you can finish them at your own pace provided this is within the timeframe allowed for the whole course.
