Could you be the first GCS and AMEC Measurement Month Award Winner and represent GCS at the AMEC conference in Barcelona?

GCS celebrate AMEC Measurement Month September 2017 with a series of events and a new award for GCS members. The winner will be invited to AMEC’s Barcelona conference to showcase the work of GCS globally.

The International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) is the world’s largest media intelligence and insights professional organisation, representing organisations and practitioners who provide media evaluation and communication research. AMEC currently has more than 150 members in 86 countries worldwide. AMEC’s Measurement Month is a global program of activities to shine the spotlight on the importance of PR measurement.

The winner of the GCS Measurement Month Award will be the invited as the guest of AMEC to the  Global Summit on Measurement in Barcelona on 12 to 14 June, 2018 to present their case study in front of 300 delegates at what is now regarded as the premier global event of its type.

How to enter

The Measurement Month award is open to GCS members only. To enter the awards, please use this entry form and outline how your campaign or other communication activity demonstrates excellence in the field of measurement of communications within GCS.

Entries should follow the structure of the GCS Evaluation Framework, which is in-line with the AMEC Integrated Evaluation Framework, to demonstrate the impact of the work you do and should cover the headings of:

  • Objectives
  • Inputs and activities
  • Outputs
  • Outtakes
  • Outcomes and Organisational impact.

There will be particular emphasis on Objectives and Organisational impact. You will find a wealth of materials from AMEC and GCS to support you in putting together your entry.

Entries should include a clear short summary (150 words max) at the start of your submission stating why you believe your entry has demonstrated excellence in the measurement of communications.

The successful award submission and those highly commended will be published by GCS and AMEC.

AMEC will form a special judging panel of senior practitioners from member companies to judge the entries, along with representatives from GCS.

Entry to the award is free and must be completed by the end of Measurement Month 17.00, 29 September 2017. The winner will be announced by end October 2017.
