The GCS Mentoring Programme has gone live. The Programme brings together communication specialists in a mentoring partnership to help individual members build skills and plan their career development.
Places on previous rounds of the GCS Mentoring scheme have been in high demand, we are now offering mentoring throughout the year and aim to set up 25 mentor/mentee matches every month.
Mentors benefit by developing their leadership and communication skills through the partnerships as well as the opportunity to share their skills, knowledge and experience. For those interested in becoming a mentee, they will benefit by expanding their professional network, gaining new skills and taking responsibility for managing their own career development.
GCS members who are interested in non-communication specific mentoring should subscribe to the Civil Service wide Mentor Match service.
