The nomination process for the 2018/19 Inspire programme is now closed, the deadline for nominations was 31st January 2018.
Inspire is the Government Communication Service (GCS) senior talent programme for high potential grade 6 and 7 communications professionals. The overall purpose of this cross-government programme is to develop exceptional communications practitioners and to establish a strong pipeline for future leaders in government communications.
Inspire has been designed to include a wide range of development interventions, with quarterly core learning modules supported by mentoring, coaching, masterclasses, tailored training and support in career planning. Inspire is an accredited programme and successful completion leads to a post-graduate qualification in Strategic Communications Leadership from the University of Huddersfield and the opportunity to complete a Diploma or Masters in Strategic Communications Leadership.
Inspire runs in parallel to the Early Talent programme creating a clear talent pipeline for the communications profession.
Nominees should not be participants on any other Civil Service talent programme.
Candidates should read the GCS Talent Programme brochure and complete the nomination form, that includes a supporting comment from your line manager and endorsement from your Director of Communication.
Nomination forms are available from the Directors of Communication Offices or Development Advisors.
