GCS Accelerate courses

We offer GCS Accelerate Essential level training sessions for people working in the communications team of a ministerial or non-ministerial department or one of their arm-length body organisations.

To book a place you must be a GCS member

Event attendance

Your civil service pass or another form of photo ID will be required to access the venue.

When booking, make sure you receive a confirmation email. If you do not, use your Eventbrite account to check if you do have a ticket, or confirm by emailing us. Placing yourself on the waiting list does not constitute ordering a ticket.

You need to give GCS at least 2 full working days notice if you need to cancel. You can cancel on both Eventbrite or by contacting gcsaccelerate@cabinetoffice.gov.uk.

GCS Accelerate Webinar: Engaging stakeholders using digital tools

  • Audience: All GCS members working in or interested in working in external affairs and stakeholder engagement

Overview:

This webinar will teach you how to use social listening tools, tracking impact and sentiment, mapping and maintaining relationships with your key stakeholders and how to get stakeholders to use their digital channels to amplify your messages. This session will be led by Emma Booth, Senior External Affairs Manager, Cabinet Office or Will Sexton, Head of Digital, Grants Transformation Programme, Cabinet Office.
